Allocation Operative

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Allocation Operative to join our Allocation Team at our Bourne site.

Role responsibilities for our Allocation Operative will include ensuring that all goods and components are delivered to the Production areas (both Stores and Home Delivery) in a safe, accurate and timely manner, whilst making sure that Production downtime is kept to a minimum. To be responsible for packaging, hardware, sundries, pallets and trolley stocks for both our Stores and Home Delivery areas.  Responsible for ensuring accurate records are held within the Hellenic system for Stores and Home Delivery.  You will also be required to provide cover and support for the Intake and Despatch Teams when required.  To succeed in this role you will need to hold a current forklift / PPT truck licences.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Good working knowledge of horticulture manufacturing
  • Hold a current forklift licence and PPT licence
  • Hold a bendi truck licence would be advantageous
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good computer skills
  • Use of Hellenic operating system would be advantageous
  • Ability to work to KPIs
  • Enjoy the challenge of working in a fast moving environment
  • Able to work under pressure and working to deadlines
  • Full driving licence and own transport essential

 

This role will require flexibility to working hours / days, but will be based on a core shift pattern, working 40 hours each week, which will include weekend working.

Production Team Leader – Bourne Site

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Production Team Leader to join our Production Team based at our Bourne site.

In this role you will be running multiple lines, leading a team of Production Operatives on each of your designated lines, you will be responsible for the efficiency and quality of the product leaving your lines.  You will organise the distribution of work on a daily basis, ensuring that everyone in the team knows what they are expected to achieve during the day.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Good working knowledge of horticulture manufacturing
  • Previously held a Team Leader / Supervisory role within Production horticulture manufacturing
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Good computer skills
  • Use of Hellenic operating system would be advantageous
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Enjoy the challenge of working in a fast moving environment
  • Able to work under pressure and working to deadlines
  • Ability to work to KPIs
  • The ability to work as part of a team or individually
  • Full driving licence and own transport essential
